It’s a pity this is Windows only.

It’s basically a thumbdrive, with headphones and a microphone attached, that lets you use skype from any Net connected PC without having to install any software. Presumably they have managed to make the skype software portable so it runs from the thumbdrive. I haven’t tested this myself, but it’s an interesting idea.

The website lists a bunch of other hype, which bascially boils down to the fact that it’s also a thumb drive. So don’t take it all too seriously. You can ‘play MP3 files’ from any removable media. That doesn’t make it a ‘portable entertaiment centre’.

It should retail for between $50 and $150 depending on the capacity, which makes it similar to standard thumb drives.
